1. Introduction to PSE Certification
PSE certification is a mandatory safety certification system in Japan, implemented in accordance with the Electrical Appliance Safety Law. It classifies electrical products into two categories: specific electrical products (diamond-shaped PSE mark) and non-specific electrical products (circular PSE mark), corresponding to high-risk and low-risk products respectively, to ensure that the products comply with Japanese safety standards and guarantee the safety of consumers' use.

3. Scope of application
Lithium-ion batteries (limited to batteries with a single cell energy density of no less than 400Wh/L, and excluding batteries used in automobiles, electric bicycles, medical equipment and industrial equipment).

Sample: 83 battery cells +32 batteries (Latest certification standard: Appendix 12)
