Introduction to BSMI Certification
BSMI is the abbreviation of "Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection" of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan (referred to as the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection for short). It was formerly known as the National Bureau of Weights and Measures established in 1930 and is the highest national inspection authority of the Republic of China. Be responsible for national standards, weights and measures, and commodity inspection, etc. Most electronic and electrical products are subject to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC type approval) and safety regulations of BSMI.
Notice of the Economic Standards Bureau on November 20, 2013:Starting from May 1, 2014, 3C secondary lithium battery cells/batteries, secondary lithium power banks and chargers must be inspected in accordance with the corresponding standards and meet the requirements before they can enter the Taiwan market.

Sample: 83 battery cells /25 batteries
Note: A license from a local company in Taiwan is required
