Australian RCM certification
RCM is a registration mark indicating that the supplier declares the product complies with the safety and other requirements stipulated by the electrical safety laws/regulations of each state in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the electromagnetic compatibility requirements stipulated by the Radio Communications Act of Australia and the Radio Communications Act of New Zealand. Only when a product complies with both electrical safety regulations and EMC regulations can it use the RCM mark.
SIRIM certification in Malaysia
1. Introduction to SIRIM Certification
(Standard of Industrail and Research Institute in Malaysia) is the only institution officially appointed by the Ministry of Communications of Malaysia to guide certification. Importers, manufacturers and traders can all apply to SIRIM and undergo audits and obtain approval in accordance with the recognized standards under the product certification system.
2. The products within the mandatory scope of SIRIM mainly include:
Electronic and electrical products, fire protection equipment, personal protective equipment, building materials, etc.
